Introducing a sweet sartorial indulgence that food lovers and fashionistas can appreciate. The Berkley (the 5-star luxury hotel in London) has unveiled their Spring/Summer 2010 Prêt-à-Portea afternoon tea collection of delicious confections. Among the designer inspirations are Jason Wu, Yves Saint Laurent, Christopher Kane and Chanel.
“The combination of colours and textures this season translates wonderfully into cakes and pastries. I was particularly intrigued by hats this season, and wanted to make sure that the current Prêt-à-Portea collection represented the return of this statement accessory,” says Mourad Khiat, The Berkeley’s head pastry chef.
