When the temperature starts to drop and the leaves begin to turn those beautiful fall colours, there is rarely something as delicious and comforting as a warm bowl of homemade apple sauce. It’s so simple to make and yet so satisfying, like a warm hug on a cool fall day!
Sunday was the perfect day to get cooking. So I found this recipe for a simple apple sauce and tweaked it by not adding the apple cider. And let me tell you, it smelled like heaven while it was cooking!
As a finishing touch, I sprinkled a little homemade granola. Warm, sweet, crunchy, delicious!
