There’s nothing better than waking up on a cold snowy weekend to warm homemade scones. Especially when it’s Valentine’s Day; what better way to show your love than with something warm and yummy for his tummy! I’ve always been overwhelmed with the recipes I’ve come across – too many ingredients, too much sugar, too complicated. Until now! This recipe was so easy and required minimal ingredients, the perfect recipe for a lazy Sunday morning.
Warm. Golden. Delicious! I opted for raspberries instead of currants, and added lemon zest. That’s the great thing with this recipe, it’s a jumping off point to really create your own flavour of scones. What flavour will you try?
