What is it about weekend mornings that make baking so good! While most reserve their Sunday mornings for the freshly baked breakfasts and spend Saturdays running around, I would rather welcome the weekend with warm baked goodness straight from the oven! While keeping with my New Year’s resolution of trying one new recipe each week, I was searching for the next yummy treat that I would share with my chic readers. Then I stumbled upon this recipe for breakfast bread. What a great idea!
So I gave it a whirl and OMG! So happy I did! I decided to sweeten my loaf with maple syrup and it was perfect. A hint of sweetness, perfect to top with a little strawberry rhubarb jam. The best part, it literally took 30 minutes from beginning to end. The perfect treat to whip up in the morning, even on those hectic Saturday morning!
