Last week I lived a fashionista’s dream! Imagine walking into a room, a case of designer jewelry, gorgeous scarves with uniquely colourful prints lining the wall, racks of designer clothes whispering you to come over, Champagne flowing to help you make those tough purchasing decisions, and chocolates to sweeten the experience (as if it could get any sweeter, it was all at 70-90% off)! That’s what I did on Wednesday night!
The event highlighted the official launch of Damn Heels, the cute foldable flats that you can slip into your purse and quickly hop into when your beloved stilettos begin to ache. What’s not to love about this! Seriously, for all you gals who are still wearing runners with your suits when walking to work, I beg you all, please please PLEASE get yourself a pair of these. They will benefit you (you’ll look stylish and chic) and the world (we will eliminate bad shoes with chic clothes once and for all)!
A case filled with accessories – beautiful bangles, cuffs and bracelets, chic and colourful earrings and all at 70-90% off! I stil got my eye on those gold and turquoise earrings on the bottom… might have to make a stop soon!
I perused the racks of designer duds in awe (yes, I’m pretty sure my mouth was hanging open most of the time)! There were so many gorgeous styles to choose from – Hervé Leger, Theory, Michael kors, Emilio Pucci… the list goes on. But I knew which one was meant for me when I came across this…
A sweet and sexy little number by Alice + Olivia. There was one, it was my size, and when I tried it on, I felt like a million bucks! That’s the power of the perfect dress! I can’t wait to wear this out!
I want to say a big THANK YOU! to Selina from My Montreal Wedding, Maryam and Angelica from Très Chic Styling, and everyone who put together this fashionable and fabulous evening! I had so much fun and, after months of tweeting, I loved being able to finally meet all of you! And of course, I so enjoyed seeing old friends again! Can’t wait for the next one!
