I’ve been a busy busy bee! Yes, I’ve been MIA the past few weeks, swamped with work by day and living it up by night, trying to take advantage of the gorgeous summer weather that seems to be coming to an end soon (can’t believe it’s August next week!). So what have I been up to? Well, besides working on my terrasse-style suntan, I recently visited the Montréal Museum of Fine Arts to see the Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit La planète mode de Jean Paul Gaultier. And it was fabulous!
We all love and can all appreciate the creativity and craftsmanship of haute couture. But to see these gowns and creations up close really makes you realize all the work that goes into each and every piece. And the historical account of all his collections shows how much he has influenced the fashion world and shaped so many of the trends we still wear today. Bottom line, it was absolutely fabulous! Take a look at a few of my faves from the exhibit.
