To some, the term “quick bread” might seem like somewhat of an oxymoron. The kneading, the time to rise, time to bake… there’s nothing quick about baking a loaf of bread. That’s why I am so happy to have found this recipe for quick bread! The wonderful thing about this recipe is that not only is it super simple, but the page offers 10 variations of the delicious bread, from the very sweet to the ultra savoury.
If you are looking to whip up some baked goodness on the fly, then this is the recipe for you. The basic recipe can be enjoyed with so many different meals (think hearty soups and chili). Add a little fruit, nuts, spices or chocolate chips and you have a delicious treat for breakfast or dessert! So far I have made the apple cinnamon loaf (pictured) and the blueberry loaf and they are both super scrumptious without being overly sweet. The bonus: no one will know how easy it was to bake so get ready to impress!
