Anastasia Beverly Hills Kisses On My List :: Review
You know the anticipation and excitement you get right before you open a Christmas gift? You shake the package and try to guess what it is, then when you can take it anymore you rip open the package to reveal its contents, then you smile. You never imagined it could be so wonderful! Well that’s the feeling I had when I received the Anastasia Beverly Hills Holiday 2012 collection. I adore Anastasia HydraFull lipglosses! So when I received the Kisses On My List kit, I was like a kid on Christmas morning.
The Kisses On My List kit includes six high-shine lipglosses, four shimmery and two matte. Three of these shades are soft, sheer glosses, while three are Hypercolor Glosses. Wanna hear the cool part? The Hypercolor formula is clinically proven to improve the texture and appearance of your lips. What’s even cooler? It also reacts with your skin’s chemistry to stain your lips a custom hue that is all your own.
The spectrum of shades included in this kit is amazing. I mean, if you have this kit, what other shades do you really need? The shades range from bright pink, peachy coral to pinkish nudes – all very wearable for day or night.
The shades included are (from left to right) Lola (a cool pink), Jolene (a bright pink with shimmer), Sharona (a peachy shade with shimmer), Roxanne (a shimmery gold), Moi (a creamy sheer pink) and Maggie May (a creamy sheer nude), which has since become my new favourite nude gloss.
No matter how many lipsticks I own, i will always be a lipgloss girl. I love the polished look i get the instant I swipe that wand across my lips. Since I have received these, there isn’t another gloss i reach for (sorry, MAC). The colours are gorgeous, the formula is long-lasting and I just love the way it feels on my lips. Plus, they don’t have that strong scent many glosses tend to have. The only thing that bothered me in the beginning was the silicon applicator, a minor detail when it comes to these fantastic glosses.
