You may have noticed that I didn’t share my monthly beauty buys for March. After travelling for most of the month, I decide to hold off until this month when I knew I would have more to share with you in the beauty department. From cool finds while on vacation to new launches that hit the market, here are the beauty items that made their way into my beauty arsenal this month.
WEN Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner – I picked this up at Sephora in Hawaii. I remember hearing about it from the infomercials years ago, but also more recently from other beauty bloggers. It’s a 5-in 1 that cleanses and conditions hair, leaving is soft, manageable, hydrated and just plain gorgeous. The beauty of it is also the fact that the formula is free of harsh chemicals usually found in most other hair products. Plus, it smells ahhh-mazing!
Living Proof Night Cap Overnight Perfector – There has been a lot of hype about this product recently. Since I (like every other girl) want shiny, vibrant hair, I decided to take advantage of the Sephora VIB sale to try it out. Essentially you comb 2 or 3 pumps of the product into your hair at night and wake up with gorgeous hair in the morning. A promise of waking up more beautiful from a brand with such a great reputation? I’m in!
Dior Nail Glow – The first time I saw this product I immediately wrote it off as a waste of money. Then I saw my mom’s perfectly manicured nails and fell in love. The clear pink polish gives nails a clean and polished look by softly accentuating the nail bed and whitening the tip, while still looking natural. Since I’ve been back from vacation, I traded in my usual red nails for a more minimalist look and this polish delivers exactly what I want.
Dermalogica Precleanse – I don’t know what took me so long to try this product but I am so happy that I did. I use it before my regular cleanser and it lifts all my makeup, dirt, oil and gunk that has built up on my skin throughout the day and just rinses away. The texture is like an oil that you massage into dry skin. After a few minutes, add a few drops of water to transform the texture from an oil to a milky lotion and rinse off. Since I started using this my skin has looked so clean and amazing that I don’t think I could ever be without it.
What are your favourite beauty products that you think I should try?
