Sometimes I feel like I create a need for a beauty product, even though deep down inside I know that I really don’t need anything. And that’s precisely what happened this month. But you know what, sometimes you realize that you really did need these things in your beauty arsenal. And so without further ado, here are my new favourite beauty products from this month.
Philosophy Coconut Frosting Body Wash – It’s no secret that I’ve been OB-SESSED with coconut every since I went to Maui. No really, I think the majority of the coconut I’ve consumed in my life has been in the last few months. I somehow decided one day that I needed a new body wash (even though I had another coconut body wash sitting in my shower). This one from Philosophy smells AHHHH-MAZING. And the cool thing is that you can use it as a body wash, bubble bath and shampoo. So far I’ve only used it as a body wash but I can say that my skin was so soft when I stepped out of the shower that I didn’t need to apply body lotion.
Burt’s Bees Refreshing Lip Balm with Pink Grapefruit – I have about a million lip balms, butI can honestly say that none compare to this one. I love the refreshing and energizing scent of pink grapefruit and the formula is super comfortable and not the least bit sticky. It contains pink grapefruit seed oil and really hydrates dry lips quickly. What I love most about this one is that it seems to stay on your lips for so much longer than all the other balms that I’ve tried. I seriously don’t leave home without it.
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk – This has been on my list of products to try for the longest time. NYX has such a good reputation in the beauty world and this pencil is no exception. The Milk shade is perfect to highlight the inner corners of the eye and the brow bone. The formula is creamy, super pigmented and glides on so effortlessly. A few dabs with your ring finger blends any harsh edges out easily. This might very well be my favourite beauty product right now.
