Well hello there! I know, it’s been a while, but the break was necessary. After more than 6 years writing this blog, I felt that I had lost my way a little. I wasn’t blogging for the same reasons why I had initially started and every piece of writing I did felt more like an obligation rather than a pleasure. My purpose for creating content had shifted from being a creative outlet to the attempt to turn it into a career. So I took the time to take a step back and rediscover why I fell in love with blogging. The result will be reflected in each and every piece of content I create from now.
During my break, I went through a transformation that was both physical and psychological. The physical aspect got me refocusing what it meant to be healthy, working out to be strong, not skinny, and eating more to be healthy, not less to be thin. I’ve met incredible people along this journey who have supported me through the happy times and the bad. I’ve also learned so much about fitness, nutrition and self-love that have changed my perception on how I take care of myself. These are all the things that I want to share with all of your. I’ve been sharing the lessons I’ve learned and the experiences I’ve gone through on my fitness Instagram account, but t’s also something I want to share with you here in ore detail. Of course, I’ll still keep a focus on fashion and beauty because let’s face it, they’ll always have a place in my heart. The most important thing for me is that I realized that the things that make life beautiful are not just material things (although they do help), it’s the experiences you have. The most important person in your life is you, so learning self-love and being compassionate and kind to yourself matters.
