I can hardly believe another year has come and gone. Although my year started off in a peaceful paradise, I had no idea what a whirlwind year it would really be. If I had to choose one word to describe my year it would be “change”. My life has done a complete 180 in every single aspect – new job, new friends, new love – and I can honestly say that I have never been happier! To all my readers I wish you a wonderful new year. Destiny is what you make of it (trust me)! Be good to yourself, be good to others and the rest will somehow fall into place.
Happy New Year!

I finally finished my Christmas shopping! Presents have been wrapped, bows have been tied, cards have been signed, and they are all waiting patiently to be torn open. I can hardly wait to see the looks on everyone’s face as they unwrap them (in my opinion it’s the best part). I also have a hard time keeping these kinds of secrets. Anyways, with the hustle and bustle of the holiday shopping season behind me, I saw no harm in giving myself with a few gifts, you know, as a reward for a job well done.

If you’ve every experienced love at first sight, you’ll understand the feeling I had the moment I laid my eyes on this skirt. It’s the perfect statement piece and so unbelievably chic!
I have a constant need to feed my scarf addiction, so when I came across this Longchamp scarf on DINSTINCT, the deal was just too good to pass up.
One of my New Year’s resolutions is to read one book per month. I’m getting a head start with these two reads. What else would you expect from a fashionista!
See what I mean about the scarf addiction? But I figured the scarf and this blouse are basics in a well-put-together wardrobe! (Scarf from Très Chic Styling, blouse from Zara)

There’s no better combination than food and fashion, especially if the food involves sweet confections. Lately I’ve been on binge of sweet treats, craving all kinds of yumminess – chocolate, pastries, caramel, cake… I just love to eat! And being the foodie that I am, I just adore the fact that I am smack dab in the middle of the most delightful of culinary seasons, the holidays! So throw your diets out the window and get ready to drool over the yummiest accessories you ever did see!
For the cheesecake lover in your life, this Classic Satchel cheesecake is the perfect dessert. Made of milk toffee cheesecake with a cookie crust and Belgian chocolate details, it’s definitely droolworthy ($235 via Neiman Marcus).
I love my miniature chocolates! The delectable chocolate handbags are just so cute. And all of them have that chic Chanel vibe…. mmmmm Chanel! ($52 via Neiman Marcus)
Alexander McQueen’s most famous shoe has now been immortalized as a cookie. Well maybe not immortalized, give me a glass of milk and two bites and this baby’s got a new home in my tummy. The Gaga’s Workshop x Barneys NY Gaga Chocolate Shoe is the perfect gift for the McQueen/Gaga fan in your life. ($58 via Barneys)
For the shoe slore in your life (and yes, we are all shoe slores to some extent), the Gayle’s Chocolate High-Heel Chocolate Shoe is the perfect treat! Bonus: the clear purse in reusable! ($45 via Saks)
MarieBelle Vanity Purse Chocolates are just too cute to eat. Each printed with fun designs, they look so delightfully delicious! ($75 via Saks)
Last but not least, SweetBliss Polka Dot Chocolate Purse & Pump could not be more en vogue with the current polka dot trend we are seeing everywhere. And of course, since we love our shoes! ($52 via Saks)

I’m not one to rave about a beauty product, but this was just too good to pass up. Yesterday morning I tried Lise Watier Flash Lift Radiance Vials for the first time. As usual, I expected little results. See I am one of those skeptical people when it comes to beauty products. I’ve been lied to and deceived just too many times. A product promises to change my life and rarely comes through, and well, let’s just say that I’ve been damaged by all these broken promises. But this one was different… this one delivered!
Now you have to realize that it takes a lot for me to write up a product review. I have to love it, and I can safely say that I absolutely adore this product. The product describes itself as a “magic potion for instant lift and radiance. It provides instant radiance, erases signs of fatigue, smoothes the appearance of wrinkles, a longer lasting makeup and gives a cosmetic lift effect.” Curiosity hit me…
I cracked open the vial, poured the contents in my hand and patted the potion over my face and neck. Talk about instant gratification! My skin looked refreshed and the tone looked more even. It definitely erased the signs of fatigue and gave me an all over radiance. I was even treated to a “Wow, your skin looks wonderful! What did you do?” by one of my colleagues. The product was light and smelled wonderful too!
I discovered this product in one of my Luxe Boxes and have to admit that at first sight I didn’t think this product was for me. But after trying it out, I will definitely be stocking up on these little vials of liquid radiance. The best part is that at $27 (CAD) for seven vials, I won’t be breaking the bank to look fab!

Last night I attended the launch party for the Serial Indulgence jewelry collection and let me just say, it was definitely a night to indulge. The evening took place in the shiny and new Très Chic Styling showroom on the very trendy Laurier Ave. in Montréal and had all the details to make a très chic night. The Serial Indulgence line, a creation of Maryam Rafa who is also co-owner of the stylish fashion showroom, is a brightly coloured collection of earrings, necklaces, bangles and rings inspired by her travels around the world (and boy does this girl travel)! Made with quality materials that won’t tarnish and adorned with Swarovski crystals, each piece is the right amount of elegance and simplicity! Take a look at the new showroom and a first look at the Serial Indulgence collection.

Beautiful, bright and white, the new Très Chic Styling showroom perfectly showcases the stylish clothes it houses. And topped with crystal chandeliers, the room is full glam!

Champagne, strawberries, chocolate, roses, jewelry – indulgence came in all forms. Each and every detail made the showroom glamorous and girly!

So many pieces to choose from! I must have tried on everything… twice! The best part is that her collection is so affordable, it made it impossible to walk away without a little something for myself…
Or four! I indulged in a few gifts for myself. Three goldtone bangles that I mixed and matched myself and a gorgeous oversize cocktail ring adorned with a huge black stone! Want to indulge? They are having an exclusive sale until December 2nd!
A huge thank you to Maryam for letting me be a part of this momentous occasion! I had a blast and am super happy with my new indulgences… especially my special gift! Congratulations on your launch and your new location. It’s all fabulous!

It’s that time of the month! Oh no wait… not THAT time of the month. It’s Luxe Box time! I honestly adore this service. Not only does it let me discover so many new products, but their customer service is amazing. I classify myself as a girl who appreciates the little things in life and Luxe Box is right on the money when it comes to making me feel special!
I love how they take the time to personalize each box! So cute!
Benefit Cosmetics, Lise Watier, Méreadesso, Teaopia – this month’s box didn’t disappoint. The great thing is that they are all products I’ve never tried before.
Benefit Cosmetics made quite the appearance in my box with B. Right! Moisture Prep Toning Lotion and Posietint Poppy-Pink Tinted Lip & Cheek Stain. I’m a sucker for packaging and so have always been attracted to Benefit’s skincare line. It’s just so damn pretty! This particular Toning Lotion is said to prep your skin to fully optimize the benefits of your moisturizer – perfect for the upcoming cold weather. I’ve also heard some great things about the Lip & Cheek Stain!
One of my new discoveries is the Méreadesso Lip Treats. Packed with vitamins and oils, it primes your lips perfectly to double the wear time of your lipstick or lipgloss… yes, I said lipgloss! Being addicted to lipglosses myself, I was super excited to try this and I have to say it is a great product! Although it won’t make your gloss last through eating and drinking, it does prevent it from magically evaporating from your lips and it also helps to fill in the lines in your lips for a more perfect application. Lise Watier Neige is a classic. I’m not sure the fresh scent is my style though. I’ll just have to try it out and see!
Perhaps the biggest surprise was this brightly coloured tin by Teaopia. Inside, a blend of fruit-scented cactus fig tea. and here I thought Luxe Box was all about the beauty products. Oh how you surprise me! I LOVE tea. It boasts so many health benefits and is so warm and comforting. This particular blend includes Organic Sencha Green Tea, fig pieces, aloe vera, sandalwood and orange flowers. Sound yummy!

I simply love Anya Hindmarch totes. They are always so fun and chic and always seem to put a smile on my face. I especially like her latest creation which uses iconic bits of the Brits, the Big Ben and Corgi totes.

I’ve always loved British humour so I immediately fell in love with these. I have a particular penchant for the tote with the corgi which looks exactly like a certain furry friend in my life! And the interiors are equally cute (I love that)!
Anya Hindmarch totes are available on Net-a-Porter for $295 (US) each.
